Power from God was copyrighted and printed by Whitaker House, 30 Hunt Valley Circle, New Kensington, PA, in 1996.  The book has 159 pages containing thirteen chapters. Finney at Oberlin College during the years 1845-1861.  Charles Finney was born in 1792 and died in 1875.  He was formally educated as a lawyer who God called to preach the Gospel while a young man.  His style of preaching was the same as he had used when making a presentation before a jury in a courtroom.  The material was presented in a clear and factual manner which brought conviction upon those who heard him preach.
