GOD'S SPIRITUAL HOUSE

by

T. Austin Sparks

It is not known when T. Austin Sparks wrote God's Spiritual House but it was copyrighted  and printed 2001 by MercyPlace Ministries, a licensed imprint of Destiny Image, Inc., Shippensburg, PA.  There are 129 pages in this book.

T. Austin Sparks, 1888 - 1971, was a British pastor who is vividly remembered for his constant emphasis on the centrality of Christ.  His international ministry operated from his home base at Honor Oaks Baptist Church in southeast London.  God's Spiritual House is only one of many books he authored during his lifetime.  The back cover of the book says this about him: "The writings of T. Austin Sparks serve as a beacon of light and hope for a church drifting on a sea of despair.  Millions are now questioning the relevance and authenticity of the present-day Church.  God's Spiritual House is destined to become a road map for those who are trying to find their way home through the maze of religious, powerless preaching, and worthless worship.

Sparks prophetically proclaims that our answers are found in bringing Christ back to His rightful place.  Man's ministry has eclipsed the headship of Christ.  The Church's only hope for recovery is in the recovery of Christ's place in His body.  The glory cannot be restored until the King is on His throne.

If you pass your eye over history, you see that all real spiritual awakenings - call them revivals or renewals - have circled round this one thing, that the Lord was brought back into His place....The exaltation of our kinsman means that the family is coming to exaltation.  His enthronement is the earnest of ours.

God's Spiritual House is the antidote for those who are spiritually sick and longing for the return of the King back to His rightful place - right in the middle of His people."
